Are there any Garmins or Tom Toms that offer GPS Tracking and Mileage Logging options?

Seth asked:

I need to know if there are current GPS models that offer this special feature. I will be using it to track and log business trips and I need to be able to report these on my taxes.

I would rather avoid getting the GPS —and— an external device for tracking/logging. Thanks!

I think you are looking for what is referred to as a trip computer or trip counter or destination computer. this sort of feature is built into the newelectronx gps navigation and tracking igo gps model.

you can track things such as distance remaining, time remaining, arrival time, gps time, altitude, speed limit, average speed, avg. driving speed, max speed, total time, driving time, stopped time, total distance, min altitude, max altitude, and more. you can start and pause and save each trip under it own file to refer back to it later.

this is what i am referring to: May
