Can you replace a VYII Clubsport stereo with an in-dash one with GPS using the steering wheel controls?

I have a VYII Clubsport R8 with the factory-fitted Blaupunkt stereo which is controlled for volume etc from the steering wheel. I want to replace it with an in-dash unit capable of running an iPod and satnav software and preferably still being controlled via the steering wheel controls. Does anyone have any suggestions as to brand etc?

thats a very common thing in all radios now

look into alpine almost all of there units can be controlled through steering wheel controls.

you can also look for car specific radio here -

or if you don’t want to change the head unit just get the harman kardon – drive and play
connects to head unit and plays ipod while still using the steering wheel controls of the factory unit.

    good luck
