I’m looking for a portable GPS that I can use for driving in the US and Canada and can mount on my bicycle for road trips. I think the garmin nuvi 500 is good, but no Canada maps. Any advice?
I think the garmin nuvi 550 will do the trick! I don’t care so much about elevation, but at least this one has CA maps.

I want to have a GPS Unit for my car for driving direction, but also would like to be able to use it on my bike when I go on long cycling routes. Does anyone know of models that can be used for both, and also a mount for the bike?

I am looking for the best personal monitor to use in my workouts. I mainly jog and ride bikes in the mountains near home. I have looked at a few of them but I am a little confused. Should I get the gps feature or just the monitors? What about hooking it up to my pc to save the data, does that help or is it just one more thing that doesn’t get done?

Can someone recommend a good GPS device to attach to a mountain bike?

I would like to find one that has biking trails in California already built in or that I could download onto it.

Thanks.

I have looked at the Garmin Forerunner and the Garmin Edge. Is there a brand that is better? Is there a unit that works best fpr BOTH running and cycling?
