I’m looking into getting a Nokia e52, but there’s one thing i don’t understand.

How does the GPS support work? And do you have to pay for the service?
Thanks for the replies guys. You both obviously have very differing opinion on the subject.
I wonder is there anyone else who can confirm which is true for the e52?

I believe you can do so from the Nokia website, but I looked at it and it doesn’t have that model in the drop down menu or the contact email section. I rang the enquiry number but it’s not operational at present

Thinking about getting a Nokia N97 but one of the governing factors is the GPS system. I really want a phone with decent GPS, can anybody tell me how good it is or offer any alternatives if it is not that great?

I am frustratedly trying to find out more details but no salesperson was much help. It looks like the nokia maps vs route 66 only work via assisted gps using the phone towers and also it seems that voice guidance costs extra ? If this is the case I will just stick to the 6110 navigator altho the new model looks great. Without the features I want and need – it seems pointless , even if it does have better pic and video modes.

Thanks
