I recently started hiking and thought that a trail GPS would be something good to invest in. I am now using a Magellan Maestro 3250 but I would like to get one that can do both road ways and hiking. I am also notoriously clumsy so something sturdy and water proof would be nice. Anyone out there use a gps unit that they can recommend?

You turn it on and mark your position when starting out and it tells you how to get back. That’s all it does. It is meant to be worn on a jacket zipper or a lanyard.
