does having my gps plugged in my car drain the battery while its off?
my car is a rsx-s 02. battery just died and had the gps plugged in overnight. there shouldnt be power going through the cigarette lighter plug thing right?

No it doesn’t use any power. that’s only like if u leave the light on lol. so no it wont.
If the cigarette lighter is still powered with key off, then yes, the gps will draw current to keep it’s internal battery charged.
