Hi all,

I’ll soon be taking part in a four day cycle across the length of wales and planning on relying on my Blackberry gps positioning. Will it work even if i have no network coverage.

teh data /direction will be there but you wont get the maps as it needs the network to download the maps as you go!! man290663@btinternet.com

Althought the maps are on my work one it seems to need the internet to work the gps mapping. My Sony Ericsson does too. A Nokia 5800 I had was better for that as it worked with the built in maps and cost no more. albertbigndaft
