GPS PROBLEM! HELP ME

I just bought a Mio 230 and iam going to seattle next week from Victoria…now when i go to adress and type in anything in victoria it comes up. I go to CITY: Seattle, or washington in general and i type in the adress of my hotel on i think its called Tatternton ave. not sure and i start typeing “t” and it gives me no option for “A” it just says a couple other letter…why is this adress not coming up? will it locate all the adresses once im in Washington?

Double check the street name, you may b misspelling it. And it should not make a difference whether you’re in Washington or not.
perhaps its a new street, and the gps isn’t updated to current maps…? ReticentlyCandid
