GPS problem with S REG. Renault Laguna?

I believe some GPS units have difficulty “seeing through” UV protection glass, which your Renault might have in its windscreen. Does it have a purple-y tint to it? If so, it might be worth trying to fit the aerial at the top of the rear screen. You can get special kits for mounting rear-view mirrors onto windscreens from Halfords. You could try sticking it on with that, but make sure you clean the glass thoroughly with alcohol, otherwise it won’t stick. EvelynThe ModifiedDog.
