hi i need help purchasing the best gps system for the money preferably under $400thanks?

    I absolutely LOVE Garmin brand GPS’. They are very easy to use, and have tons of great features. For your price range, you can get a really great one.

    Mio and Tom Tom are also good.

    If you buy it in the US, it won’t have Europe maps on it. That’ll cost another $160 USD. Or you buy the gps in Europe and buy the US maps when you get home.

    PS I agree about Garmin – easy to use, well-made. I’ve had two, wouldn’t consider another brand.

    Important question – how will you use the gps? Handheld, while walking about? In a car? It’s hard to find a model that does both well.
