How can I get my GPS to show the names of streets?

really cant help you because most gps systems are different. although the function is the same, the configuration to do what you want may be different from mine. i have this one:
and configuring it is a breeze. mine came with instructions. read your instruction manual if all else fails and get the gist on your question. the manual should help.
you may want to make another post and give the model number and manufacturer of your gps. someone here may help.
