    Take to to learn your way around. I started using GPS about a year ago, because I travel to peoples homes all day at work. I know my area well, but can seem how using a GPS device would keep you from learning the area.

    Somehow everybody managed without a GPS system up to now. Any gas station will sell you a state and a city map, spend a few minutes examining it, see what routes you can come up with, if you get lost, the map will get you back on track.
