You should ask around in agriculture forums about the type of gps you need. You may find gps units and software at a reduced cost for your particular application. Be patient and ask around. The reason ag units cost so much is limited production and the software is expensive because it is written for specialty applications. Be careful or you may not even get the unit to do what you want.
