How do I use the GPS for the Nokia N97?

Hi, I’m wondering how I get the gps to work. Like the Compass moves around with you. And when I’m driving it gives me directions and stuff. I dont understand any of it. Can someone explain to me everything I need to know to use the GPS and nagivational thing.
