Do you mean a vehicle navigation GPS system or indash one?

A vehicle navigation GPS unit is one that is a little unit that you put in your window. They are able to work in any car and are easy to work with. All you have to do is take it out of the box and connect it to the cigarette adapter. They work staight out of the box and have no monthly costs.

An indash unit is one that replaces you radio and is just a replacement cd player. It will have navigation with it and sometime a DVD player. These are much more complicated to install but they can be installed in most cars.

Either one of these will have the ability to play mp3s, it just depends on the model.

    Good Luck!!!
