How to get GPS Positioning on my Nokia 5800 to work?

I have a Nokia 5800 and I have what it calls a GPS where you can get your position etc but I can never get it to work it is just always looking for a satellite, is this a common problem? Any solution?

    Hiya Sean! Ive got the application on my N95/8gig handset! The data/gps connection is set up with my internet provider,Network 3!

    Make sure that when it searches for satellites that you are in an open space with a clear view of the sky, away from buildings and trees. You cannot get a satellite lock indoors.
