If a cell phone comes with a GPS navigator, is the GPS free to use?

A cell phone I’m considering buying says it comes with a GPS and turn by turn directions on it. So I was wondering if I would be able to use this for free, or would it cost extra? Thanks!

It depends on your plan. I have Verizon Nationwide Prem. and I got the LG Dare phone. So for me, Navigator is free, although for people without a premium plan, its 9.99 a month.

it depends. not all cell carriers/phones offer free turn by turn directions. some will require a fee, some wont.
