I bought this GPS device from Amazon for $98, but after reading the so-so reviews on Amazon, I’m thinking about returning it. Just wanted to get some opinions from the Yahoo group…

Thanks!

I think it’s a great value. It’s not the best unit on the market, but for less than 100 bucks, it’s well worth it!

For an entry level GPS, it’s a good value unit.

Expect to see some lukewarm reviews from Amazon. Don’t let that discourage you from keeping it.

yes tom tom is a great GPS. Its portable and small so no bulkiness is to it and its really easy to follow

It’s an inexpensive device, but it’s a good little device, and at $98 it’s a steal (retail $175). The TomTom ONE series benefits from receiving map corrections from other users so its accuracy continues to increase over time.

The one thing I don’t like about the TomTom product line is that they’re constantly refining the device, adding bugs to the software as fast as they fix them. That said, I still think it’s the best brand of GPS devices out there.
