A friend of mine is being stalked by an ex-boyfriend and there is a tracking device that he installed in her car. We know that he could get into trouble but we need to find the device first. Is there a way?
He calls her whenever she leaves the house and asks where she is going and says he knows when she leaves and gets home and he doesnt live around here.

Most GPS devices are in some way attached to the battery or alternator (for power). Check around those places. If you cannot find anything that looks like it doesnt belong, take it to a Police Dept and see if they can find it.
If the STALKER calls and asks where yawl are going, be honest. Unless purchased through the blackmarket, any kind of GPS device will have purchaser consumer data that can tell the police who the guy is.

I’ll pray for you two, good luck and God-speed.

I don’t know where you live, but I would go to the Police/Sheriff’s Dept and tell them (ask for Investigator) exactly what is happening. They can find the device without have to dismantle everything. If you were close, I have done this myself many times.
