Hello, I really want to be able to track how far i run.

I want to buy some reliable gps software so that i can track the miles that i have ran, for example the Nike ipod nano devices.

Any shops in England sell anything, fairly low price range.

Thanks

The top-rated running/GPS software is almost certainly SportTracks. It’s free, too (albeit with donation suggested).

There’s also stuff like the Runner’s Studio out there, but they’re really not as experienced nor reviewed as highly (and they charge). I believe it’s only recently they’ve added GPS capability, too.

The Nike Plus system isn’t GPS based, so I’m not sure it would interact directly with either.

SportTracks can also be used entirely manually if you’d simply like to enter things by hand for good logging without data coming directly from a GPS device.

Garmin Forerunner 101 or 201 are good choices at modest prices.
