What do you think about adults wearing GPS jewelry?

I am aware that they have watches and things for children but I wanted to know how people feel about adults using that sort of technology. I am a 20 year old female college student and I am well aware of how careful and cautious I have to be. I do not really plan on using any sort of GPS technology because of how slim the chances are of me actually being kidnapped or anything, but what is your opinion?
