I noticed the Nokia 5800 has A-GPS. For many phones, you need an Internet subscription with your network for it to work. I prefer pay-n-go cards. Can the Nokia 5800 use GPS independently, like the GPS systems in cars and such?

Yes I would think that anything man made can be overloaded and fail. But with cars, personal, military, and what everelse there is. Wouldn’t it seem that the gps system get overloaded and fail?
