How can I get my GPS to show the names of streets?

Is anyone else having problems with Omnitech GPS signal?

When I call tech support, there is a recorded message that they are aware of this problem and that it is a problem in the communication with the satellite and they are hoping to have a solution “within days”. Can you turn a GPS unit on while flying on an airline?

When using a GPS unit to display distance travelled is it the actual distance you travel that you are given?
