Using a gps driving through different states?
I live in New York and I am planing on a road trip to see my cousins in Maryland. I have a gps and want to use it to get me there but its set in New York state. I can change the state that im in but do i really have to do that every time i pass through i different state? What happens if i don’t? Will the gps know if im in a different state?

I recently bought Sony Ericsson 705. It has Google maps in it but no GPS…

In order for someone to track a vehicle using a GPS tracking system those the vehicle need to have a tracer?

I have to find the latitude and longitude of cambridge without using a gps or locator for a class project. Would anyone know what method to go by? I know that today is the equinox and something with the sun’s angle would help, but I’m still kind of iffy to the whole process.
