Want to get a GPS for someone for Christmas. Any advice on which one is good?

    tomtom is ok. i had it once but on roads i lost the signal a couple of times. Later i bought a Garmin Nuvi 350. it was awesome! it was easy to use( which i found great since im not too good with electronics) and it came at a price i could afford. The name brand is Garmin. i bought mine 3 months ago at $300. you should be able to get around that price
