Here’s a GPS map of the park. You choose your entry point.
It depends on where you’re heading. If you want to get into Yosemite Valley, the most famous area of the park, try searching for “Northside Drive” or “Southside Drive”. Those are the two roads that run throughout the Valley. If you’re coming from the San Fransisco bay area or from the South, don’t let your GPS lead you off of the Highways. Some GPS units tell you to take Highway 49 to Chowchilla Mountain Road, and you don’t want to take Chowchilla. Trust me.
Otherwise, you can try place names, like “Yosemite Valley” or “Wawona” or “Tuolumne Meadows”. Each of these will get you in to the park.
Or better yet, I’ll give you coordinates to make it easier. This will put you in the middle of Yosemite Valley.
