What cell phone is best suited to golf GPS software?

I’ve seen guys using the iPhone as their GPS system on the course, but I want to know if that’s the best platform before I rush out and buy one at $500+!!!

    I don’t think you’re going to find any other phone that has course yardages. The iPhone is the only one i’ve heard of having it.

    The iPhone is the only phone that has this feature, but I wouldn’t buy the whole phone for just a GPS golf unit. There are other GPS Units for about 200-300 bucks that would be better then the iPhone.

    iphone and Blackberry strom. I use greenfinder on my blackberry, gives me enough info to avoid buying a $500 GPS.
