What is the best chip to enplant w/gps for if the dog is stolen?I have a boxer I breed him & he is worth alot.

I am not getting the impression you are an actual breeder, just someone who likes to make puppies.
That being said, does gps for animals
There are no such devices out right now that do this. The only thing there is right now is a collar that will do this. Unfortunately if your dog does get stolen the collars are very easily removed and then they are useless.
The best thing is to keep your dog under your control and watchful eye and have a micro chip implanted.
Technology isnt up to the point where your asking about yet.
The GPS devices usually cost about 100. The service that finds them is only going to charge you when you need them to locate your animal. They can locate them within 4 ft.
The micro is also great to have. This device will id your animal when it is found to prove that it is yours.
THe combination of the two is actually really great. This is what I use for my Rotti.
Talk to your vet and they can provide you with local companies that are the best.
There are some and they are expensive. Breeding your dog doesn’t make it valuable. Any street mutt can bust a load if it has irresponsible owners that won’t neuter it. A top winning dog that has virtues galore to instill in his offspring makes him valuable.

Only if your dog is found the pet is scanned for a microchip number, which when you register the chip your info is attached to that number. One of the better microchips I’ve seen is home again. They have a lot of great services that come with the micro chipping.
Best idea- not only do the microchip but get tags with up-to-date info, make sure if he is an out door dog (or goes out side at all) your back yard is secure, make sure your gates lock properly. If you are worried about someone stealing him, but want to leave him out side when you are away, consider getting a kennel put in that can be locked. (just make sure its out of the heat and he’ll have plenty of water and an area to go to the bathroom.
you cant lojak a pet. you can put a collar on them with gps, but smart thieves will just remove it first, or slip it on another dog or car bumper.
Best thing if you truely want to keep your dog, is to have him chiped, and to have him visably tattoo’d either in his ear or the fold of his rear leg on his belly.
