What is the best make and model of a GPS to get for a car?

I have a Garmin but it is over 7 years old and updating it would cost about as much as a new one, plus the battery is dead, even when its plugged in, and it won’t stick to my windshield or dash anymore. I can’t access consumer reports. Anyone have any up to date recommendations. Please include, make, model and features you especially like about yours in particular.
