What model of GPS do you recomend for geocaching?
I am looking for a simple, cheap model, but don’t want a piece of junk.

Try a Garmin.
Garmin 60 CSx. It seems to be the preferred model for serious cachers. I use one myself.
For a decent unit at a lower price, consider a Garmin eTrex Legend. Just be sure whatever you purchase has in interface (preferably USB) that allows caches to be uploaded directly from your computer.
Any Garmin will be a good choice. The Etrex Legend is a great starter unit. The Etrex Vista C allows you to use a USB cable instead of the Serial cable that comes with the Legend. You can get either of these units for under $150.00. You should be happy with either choice.
