I have a 05′ Harley Davidson Night Train. What is the best & inexpensive GPS system that I could stick on my handlebars or use a mount with?

    I use the RAM mount.
One of the best systems to mount just about anything onto the bars of a motorcycle.
I am still using an old Garmin Street Pilot III. Lots of better GPS units on the market today.
    Good Luck

‘Best’ and ‘inexpensive’ are kind of mutually exclusive in this case. Best in my judgment would have a big, bright screen that doesn’t suffer from glare. The controls would have to be glove friendly and utterly simple. Needless to say the whole thing should be weather proof, vibration proof, and, uh . . . shock proof.
There are a couple of gps units made for the two-wheeled. Tom Tom has one. I forget the other. They are not cheap. Surprise. So do you really need the best?

    Iway 500C
Rain proof, large screen, user friendly, 10 Gig MP3 player built in, portable (I use mine on the bike and in the truck)
Not the cheapest but the best bang for the buck I found.

I am suggestion a GARMIN Zumo 450 or GARMIN Zumo 550 GPS is a best GPS for a motorcycle.

Garmin zumo 450 brings all the power of a GPS navigator, wireless communicator, multimedia entertainer, and tour guide all into one device. (The zumo 450 includes many of the 550’s motorcycle-friendly features, minus bluetooth wireless technology, text-to-speech and XM Satellite, but it best for a budget)

If you are looking for an inexpensive solution, I would do a search for “refurbished garmin motorcycle gps” on google. There are a ton of refurbished gps’s out there it seems, and most of them are just refurbished for stupid reasons, like for example, the customer returned the item becuase they didn’t want it (among many other stupid reasons ilke that heh heh).
