Hello,

I am writing a paper on data availability on the internet. Based on all of the Golf GPS devices I have seen, I assumed that this information was freely downloadable somewhere. However, I have been unable to find it.

Is golf course GPS information freely downloadable from somewhere? If so, where? If not, do you think all of these companies are manually re-creating this information? Are they purchasing the data from a common provider? Who would that be?

It seems very bizarre. there are dozens (maybe hundreds) of Golf GPS doo-hickeys. Yet, the data alludes me. Thank you.

Sky Caddy is a brand name. What I don’t like about GPS is that you pay a hook up fee every year but with a laser finder you just pay one time-no down loading-works anywhere-works as a spy glass too. Grouchy
