Lucky dip asked:

1. Anyone can diagnose a condition online by Google, with better accuracy than a GP.
2. You can easily find the drugs you need that can be dispensed by a chemist.

What the hell are we doing paying GPs all that money for? To drink tea and write a prescription? In 10 years the modern world wont need Gps.

Can the internet give you a smear test for cervical cancer, Can it check your blood pressure, can it syringe your ears when they are full of wax. Your talking rubbish

you may be able to guess your condition but you don’t have the license to treat it, and you cannot get meds without the license. Maybe “chemists” in other parts of the world will dispense without a legal prescription from a licensed practitioner, but that doesn’t happen in modern countries.

My GP is like my friend to me, she knows me better than someone diagnosing something on-line.

Also I like to talk to someone in person, who listens and can refer you to Specialist’s etc.

And no you can’t easily find drugs you need without the help of a GP, one drug I need is never in stock at the Chemists and has to be ordered every time.

I respect GP’s and would not do their job for all the money in the world.
